intones with a voiceless song uses multimedia references to explore the spectrum between the voice as the linguistic object of an utterance and political participation in a social context. The poem about silent lamentation is contrasted with the cacophonically broken voice of the artist Mohamed Almusibli, which penetrates through a sculptural tree of talking microphones to the recipient. The foundation is a carpet of sound that reinforces the seriousness and urgency of the spoken words and simultaneously suffocates them.
