Solarium

Solarium is an immersive experience that invites the recipient to lie down and feel the radiant UV lights and the surrounding sounds. A musical journey leads through different soundscapes characterized by both natural and synthetic sounds. In the work Solarium a hyperreal experience is created in which the connection of one’s own body to nature and technology is questioned.

Sounds that in their organic form are reminiscent of elements such as water and wind allow an association with real places, while more abstract sound elements have a more emotional effect and can be interpreted individually. Dramaturgically, the composition should meet the recipients in reality and lead them into the world of their own fantasies and in the end accompany them back to the here and now. At the same time the greatest possible freedom of individual interpretation should be possible.
